Joined Mix Tape Tour: The Professor is now in his third year as a member of the AND 1 Mix Tape Tour. He won his endorsement contract after battling it out on ESPN's “Street Ball: The AND 1 Mix Tape Tour presented by Mountain Dew Code Red” in the summer of 2003. He had planned to mow lawns and bag groceries all of that summer, but instead found his way to becoming the next playground legend and earning a spot on the Tour. He was picked up in Portland during the Open Run, which was the second city on the 2003 tour. He played in his first game in Phoenix, as one of the contestants on the ESPN show “StreetBall: The AND 1 Mix Tape Tour,” then competed through the end of the summer. He hit game winning shots in Jackson and NYC at Madison Square Garden and was eventually selected by the AND 1 Mix Tape players as the next streetball legend and received an AND 1 endorsement deal to join the 2004 team.
